The FreeBMD Database was updated on Friday 25 Sepember 2026 to contain 296,707,946 unique records, an increase of 205,328 since August.
Years with more than 10,000 additions are: 1994-96 for births, 1995-97 for marriages, and 1996-97 for deaths.
Looking back over the past year, the vast majority of additions are from 1991 onward. Thanks to the volunteers for these additions, and for the numerous updates for earlier years, especially pre-WW1.
