On 21 April FamilySearch added a title Ontario, Roman Catholic Church Records, 1760-1923 as a browse collection. There’s detailed information on the FamilySearch Wiki.
It would appear to be identical, but without name indexing, to the database published on Ancestry in November 2017. It’s not available on other commercial genealogy websites.
It’s always good to see other family history sites making resources available free of charge. Ancestry, for instance, is SO expensive that it is out of reach of many researchers. The lack of indexing, though, makes any source difficult to use.
I am a member of FamilySearch . Very excited to hopefully be able to access this site and find out lots about my ancestors.
